The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers living in certain parts of Nadi that they will experience low water pressure to intermittent supply from 8 pm Friday (07/08) to 4 am Saturday (08/08).

Affected areas include:

Customers fed from the Nadele reservoir may experience water disruptions:

  • Nadele, Nadele Primary School, Korobebe, Narend Singh Road, Keolaiya Road, Vunabitu Road, Thomson Road, Stoney Creek, Fulton College, Part of Naboutini Back Road, Part of Waimalika, Sabeto, Sabeto Central School, Sabeto Muslim School, Natova Sector, Natalau, Waloko and Barara Flats.

The interruption in supply is to allow WAF ground teams to carry out urgent repairs to a leakage on the DN80 raiser on the air valve connection from the DN600 bulk trunk main, situated at Nadele.

The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas listed above to use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.

WAF urges customers to conserve and always store sufficient amounts of water to last them for at least two to three days in their homes at all times. 

WAF also encourages customers to invest in storage containers or water tanks connected to the water system for storage and backup supply during any unplanned disruption that may arise due to emergency works or natural disasters.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this water disruption may cause and we seek your understanding and patience until such time supplies normalize.
